Next Veterans Day Event

Veterans Day honours all wars now, it was first set up to celebrate Americans who served in World War I on November 11. But in this day and age it honours all veterans of all wars for their service, bravery and of course their sacrifice for their country. To celebrate there are always Veterans Day events taking place and this is where you can get information about them all.

Being an official United States federal holiday (Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day, even though this day also remembers men and women who served and gave their lives to service) there are always events occurring to show respect. This page is where you can find what is happening around you, and of course where you can add in the comments what event is near you.

WW1 hostilities officially ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, it was in 1954 Veterans Day holiday begun. Event happen all around the world, such as the World War II Memorial at 17th Street, between Constitution and Independence Avenues, NW Washington, DC. (202) 619-7222, this is a wreath laying ceremony. Check below for the next Veteran Day event.
