Today on September 16, 2015 the new iOS 9 is about to be released to the general public. The latest Apple software will be available for free in just a few hours time. Thousands are already asking, “What time is iOS 9 coming out today in UK?”

iOS 9 will be released as an update for the iPad mini, iPad 2, iPod touch 5th generation, iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, as well as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The iPhone 6S Plus and 6S, iPad mini 4 and iPad Pro will already come pre-loaded with iOS 9, obviously when they are out in the market. Looks like the iPhone 4 is missing out on the new software

The new iOS 9 will be release from 6pm UK time, and we do not need to show you how to update your phone, as that is a simple task. Ok, for those that are new to iPhone just go to Settings > General > Software Update.

We would recommend you backing up your device, either use iCloud or your computer (iTunes). Backing up via iCloud is as simple as Settings > iCloud > Backup, just make sure your “iCloud Backup” is on. All you need to do now is check it all worked ok by going to Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage.

Are you looking forward to the new iOS 9 update, and what features are you looking forward to the most?
